Fred was one of those irrepressible characters who seemed to bring energy and mischief in equal measure — the name Pick Pocket suited him perfectly. A well-constructed golden with an easy, ground-covering action, he acquitted himself admirably in the ring and left a positive impression wherever he appeared. He won Russian, Finnish, and Club Champion titles as well as trialled in the very capable hands of Tatiana of the Ambergold kennel.
