Olvinglay Polari JW

Pol was bred in Italy by Giovanni Monteverde. He came over to Blackthorns in January 2026 at 4 months, and we quickly bonded, he is such a sweet soul, he had his first show at Windsor Gundog where he went Best Puppy. His showing career had started and he quickly finished his Junior Warrant by the time he was 10 months just as his huge puppy coat decided to drop, helped by our very hot summer. Best puppy awards at both Open and Championship Shows with some puppy group wins along the way. He continued to go to the classes we had entered, and in his last flush before heading back to Italy he was placed Best Puppy in breed at Paignton Championship show and took a very credible 2nd in the strong Gundog puppy group. He has returned to Italy early August to complete his health clearances, he will be back to continue his gundog working classes something he has enjoyed very much. We hope to proceed with his SGWC season 2027.
